Katie’s pharmacy journey began in community roles at just 15. She gained experience in hospital and GP practice settings before joining Practice Plus IUC — a move she describes as the best decision of her career.

What motivates Katie most are roles that challenge her. She initially applied for a pharmacy technician position in IUC, later expanding her experience by collaborating with HiJ colleagues to broaden her expertise.
“Practice Plus IUC provides unmatched opportunities to grow professionally. I am grateful for the guidance and encouragement I have received, and I’m excited to continue my journey in Integrated Urgent Care,” Katie says.
As Lead Pharmacy Technician, Katie manages medicine distribution, PGD protocols, and participates in quality assurance visits. Her work requires collaboration across the pharmacy team and has helped her build confidence to lead meetings and present key updates.
